Physical Therapists

Jennifer James

Jennifer James

Jennifer started at TTS in June 2022.  She is a pediatric physical therapist who graduated from OBU with a bachelors in Exercise Science and onto OUHSC to obtain her physical therapy degree.  She has provided therapy to children for the past 22 years serving in public schools, Soonerstart, and clinics.

She is blessed to be able to work with children who need a little extra help with mobility and loves getting to know the families of these children.  She is passionate about helping children become as independent and successful as possible in whatever environment they are in..  She strongly believes that children can achieve far more than they are often given opportunity to and she works hard to set high goals for these kids while working with the other professionals and families in their lives.

She lives in Shawnee  with her husband, Mark, of 26 years.  They have five amazing kids, and two very spoiled dogs.  She enjoys visiting with friends and family, decorating her home, gardening and knitting when she isn’t “playing” with her clients.

Darbi S. Hinde is a licensed Physical Therapist and a contract Physical Therapistin pediatric therapy for Today’s Therapy Solutions. She works with a team of Speech,Physical, and Occupational Therapists treating children with many diagnoses. Darbi has

worked in many patient care settings for the past thirteen years, including acute inpatient, general orthopedic outpatient, pediatric inpatient, PICU, NICU, senior home health, pediatric home health, and school-based. She continues to return to her passion

– pediatric patient care. The last several years of further leadership and education have only continued to increase her love and knowledge for school-based physical therapy and the educational-based delivery model.

Today’s Therapy Solutions works with referrals of patients to various services and provides both clinical-based and home-based sessions with family-centered care as our mission.

Today’s Therapy Solutions also helps place related service providers in public and private Oklahoma schools. Through her daily work and consistent continuing education, Darbi works hard to educate her fellow educational colleagues and the general public on the importance and subtle differences between educational and medical-based therapies for the pediatric population.

Darbi received her BS in Psychology at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. She then attended Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas, where she completed her Masters’s in Physical Therapy.

Darbi is currently enrolled at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions, studying for her clinical doctorate with expertise in pediatric science.

Ms. Sterling-Hinde works with children with various diagnoses. Still, she finds her work with children under the umbrella of Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar diagnoses to achieve their functional achievements in their education the most rewarding.

Personally, Darbi is a momma to two children, Sawyer, age 5, and Lincoln, age 2, with her husband, Daniel, since 2007. She loves just being with her family and spending time with them, whether traveling or just hanging out at home. She and her husband are also active in their church family, running the nursery program. Currently, with her busy school and work schedule, her downtime consists of time spent at the library and traveling back and forth from her contract locations.

But in December 2022, Darbi will be Dr. Darbi Sterling-Hinde, PT, MPT, DPT!
